I would pay the mother of my husband’s children (my step-children) enough money for her to turn over custody of his children to us. Sometimes the courts get it wrong and it hurts the kids and the non-custodial parent.

Nothing else in this world is more valuable to me than that.

I would put it all in the bank and use the interest to fund my fun and games…which would include charity. The very first thing I would do? I would really like to pay for everyone in my town to be able to bring their pets in to be spaid or newtered for free. Give them a week and have it done. I would love to buy an acre of rainforest. Always wanted to adopt a polar bear. Oh and throw a HUGE free all vegan bbq for the whole town! Selfish thing? A house. I would love a big farm house.

I would pay off all of my families debts, buy a new truck and start building a house. After my family is settled and comfortable I’d find some people who are in need and help them . I’m not a real big fan of charities because you really never know where the money that you give them goes. There are alot of people getting rich working for “non profit” organizations and I dont believe in that. I’d go find some people who need help and make sure they get it.

Plan out how I will handle the taxes that come with winning the lottery. Which means, if possible, get the payment in bonds or installments. Or I could have my winnings withheld.

After that I would do what you’re suppose to do with money. I’d fill up my emergency reserve, invest in different stocks, and possibly save the rest. With enough money, I could then proceed to give it to friends and family and work toward other financial goals (new or another car, new or another house). Luckily for me, I’m debt free and can pay off my credit card bills without any problems, so I don’t need to worry about those.

First I would have to pay off debts. Mine and my wife’s Secondly I would put money away for my children’s RESP(Education Fund) which I have started, but has stalled. Thirdly I would then purchase a house and either have it payed off or put down a sizeable downpayment. Fourthly I would put some money into the bank in an investment for the long term future. If there was any money left, it would go for a vacation, to my wifes relatives overseas and to a charitable donation.
